The congress was attended by Vladimir Vasilyev, the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, Natalia Osipova, Advisor to the Head of Russiatourism, Tatiana Sharshavitskaya, Vice-chairperson of Moscow City Tourism Committee, and others. During the discussion, the experts reviewed strategies to increase bilateral tourist flows between Moscow and the Republic of Dagestan.
Tatiana Sharshavitskaya presented the “City of Discoveries”, an educational and touristic project, which regards the city as a single educational space and a living future lab. This innovative project will become an effective instrument for career guidance, counselling, and perfection of design works, as well as the development of hard & soft skills of the participants during educational touristic trips to Moscow. Besides, the “City of Discoveries” will enable systematical and global development of educational tourism.
During her speech, the Vice-chairperson of Moscow Сity Tourism Committee presented the tourist potential of Moscow, its events and cultural projects, and shared the experience of tourism and hospitality industry enhancement.
The event also featured a presentation of the Republic of Dagestan investment projects on the creation and reconstruction of tourist and recreational clusters, as well as several workshops by leading Russian tour operators and international tourism experts.
