The unique design of the capital’s stand was specially developed for the World Travel Market 2019. Its visual solution was based on a stained glass grid composed of the capital’s graphical symbols: domes, Kremlin stars, Stalin’s skyscrapers, Moskva River curves and different architectural elements. Bright colors of the “stained glass” were prompted by the Moscow style itself. This color solution can be found in the Moscow Kremlin’s ensembles, while the general look of the stand refers to the Moscow fairs and carved terems (wooden palaces) imagery.
This was the forth award received by Moscow in 2019. In June, the Moscow’s stand won several awards for its presentations at international events in East Asia. At Seoul International Tourism Industry Fair (SITIF) 2019 in Seoul, it was awarded for the best design. At Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) 2019, it gained the Best Creative Award. And at International Travel Expo (ITE) in Hong Kong, the exhibition stand of Moscow took the Audience Choice Award.
