The Guiding Star Award: The Best Representatives of the Tourism and Hotel Industry Will Be Awarded in Moscow

Applications for the Guiding Star Award established by the Tourism Committee are now invited in Moscow. The annual award is presented to the best capital city hotels, restaurants and cafes, transport companies and inbound tour operators, as well as the best cultural and leisure projects, children's facilities, the media, online applications, festivals and events. The application should be submitted before November 13th on the award website.

Both famous companies and brands and novices to the professional community can participate in the award. Laureates will be selected in 15 nominations combined in five categories: “Accommodation”, “Leisure”, “Gastronomy”, “Comfort and Impressions”, “Media”. In addition, Moscow residents can choose the best festivals and cultural projects, as well as the best sites in the capital city to visit with children on the Active Citizen project website.

The Award Organizing Committee will provide a shortlist of contenders at the first stage of voting. Laureates will be selected at the second stage, at a meeting of the Expert Council, where each of the nominees will be considered in detail. The Jury will take into account not only the standards of tourism services, but also the location of facilities, infrastructure, staff qualifications, economic and other indicators.
