An Information Center for Tourists Opens for the Time of Journey to Christmas Festival

During the days of Journey to Christmas Festival, an information center for tourists organized by the Moscow Сity Tourism Committee will work in one of trade-fair pavilions on the Manege Square. Here, visitors can obtain useful print materials for free and learn information on winter activities and sights in the city.

Maps of Moscow are available for tourists in two formats – A3 and pocket-size foldables – and contain information on the main points of attraction. Also, there are travel guide brochures “Things to See in Moscow”, “Across Moscow with Children”, and “Culture and Events in Moscow”. All printed materials are published in Russian, English, and Chinese. Beside booklets and maps offered by the Tourism Committee, here one can find maps of VDNH with routes shown, as well as booklets from Tsaritsyno Museum & Nature Reserve, the State Historical Museum, the Jewish Museum & Tolerance Center, PANORAMA360 observation deck, Moskva River cable car, Zaryadye Park, and other popular locations.

“The consulting personnel of the center answer questions of tourists in Russian and Englishhow to pay fare in metro, how to get to an airport or from A to B, where to find an ice-skating rink with skate rental, etc. Also, the experts can inform guests on interesting events in the city and help them in navigation between sites of Journey to Christmas Festival,” notes the press service of the Moscow Сity Tourism Committee.

Location: Okhotny Ryad metro station, the site of Journey to Christmas Festival, trade-fair rows near to the Moscow Archeology Museum.

Working hours: from December 13 to January 12, 11:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 22:00 on weekends and holidays.

Journey to Christmas Festival, one of the most awaited events in the capital, started on December 13, 2019. This year there will be more than 80 festival sites located in various okrugs of Moscow. Traditionally, the main festival activities will take place on the Manege Square and the Red Square, on New Arbat Avenue, etc. Festival sites will work every day until January 12, 11:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 22:00 on weekends and holidays.
